Our Facility
For your pet's health and safety, we are a non-communal boarding facility. This means we never put pets from different customers in the same kennel or allow them to run loose with each other. Each animal has their own, individual kennel with their own bedding, stainless steel bowls, and toys, which are all washed and disinfected after each use. There is no contact between your pet and other people's pets and no sharing of food or water bowls. This prevents fighting and injuries, as well as the spread of diseases. Additionally, dogs, cats, and other animals are each boarded in separate rooms. Our air system is state-approved not to share air between the dog boarding and cat boarding areas.
We board your pets in a temperature-controlled environment, and our heating/cooling system exchanges the air four times per hour. The business owner lives on the same property as the kennel, so there is someone on-site with your pets overnight.
You may stop in any time during our business hours to tour the facility.

First Choice Grooming and Boarding has 27 runs available for dog boarding. If you board multiple dogs, you have the option to kennel them together or separately. We have a larger run for multiple dogs.

There is no sharing of food or water bowls, or litter boxes. If you board multiple cats, you have the option to kennel them in the same condo or in separate condos. The cat boarding room has plenty of windows and sunlight. Your cat is able to look out the window when sitting in the upper level of her condo.

We realize many people need to be at work at or before 8:00, and we would be happy to accommodate your schedule.
