Services Available
A full groom for a dog or cat includes all of the services listed below. Your pet may have a full groom, or you may choose any of the available services that you would like.
Dog Grooming
A haircut and/or a blow/brush out (depending upon the breed)
Anal gland draining
Ear cleaning
Nail clipping
A bath
Teeth cleaning (upon request)
Cat Grooming
A haircut and/or a brush out (your choice)
Nail clipping
A bath (upon request)
First Choice Grooming and Boarding also grooms small animals--rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.
Prices
Costs vary depending upon the animal's size and temperament, and the condition of the coat (length, amount of undercoat, matting, etc.). You may call us for a free quote.
Appointments
Grooming is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Baths and nail clipping for dogs are also available on Saturdays and Sundays, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Please call to make an appointment for a particular day and time. If you need to drop off your pet before your appointment time, you may simply drop off at anytime after 8:00 AM that's convenient for you. We'll give you a call to let you know when your pet is finished and ready to go home. You may pick up anytime before 6:00 PM.
If you need to drop off before 8:00 AM, please let us know. We realize many people need to be at work at or before 8:00, and we would be happy to accommodate your schedule. If you are unable to drop off the day of your pet's grooming, we also give you the option to drop off the day before. Your pet can then stay the night at no charge and be groomed the next day.
We treat grooming dogs like our boarding dogs while they're waiting to be groomed or picked up. They have their own run with outside access, a stainless steel water bowl, and a blanket. We let them outside at the same times we let out the boarding dogs.

About our Groomer
Our groomer, Laura Meyer, has been grooming dogs for over 30 years. She breeds and shows Australian Shepherds and has a few Shih Tzu as pets. Laura has a real passion for all animals, especially all breeds of dogs. Her calm demeanor puts dogs right at ease. Her experience gives her the ability to work with dogs or cats of any temperament.
